The Stars and the Moon

Back Up

THE STARS AND THE MOON

On a crystal clear night,

The stars shine so heavenly bright.

With no clouds in sight,

I see the moons light

Shinning so bright

Deep in the night.

When you look upon the nights stars

And the bright moon,

What is it that you see?

Do you just see the stars and the moon?

Or, maybe you see sparkling spots

And the mans face in the moon?

Although, I do not know

What it is you exactly see,

But I will say unto you,

What it is that I see before me.

I see;

A bunch of stars dancing joyfully

Across the nights sky with no ending in site.

The moons bright light,

Providing an ever glowing night light

Across the sky.

Many promises have been made,

To reach the stars and the moon.

What exactly does this mean to you?

I say;

If you are going to reach above

To the sky to grab the stars and moon,

Please, grab the farthest star for me

And wait for the moon to be up so high,

Keeping to your promise that you have made.

Do not tease me, for this heart is not hard to please.
