Whereas John Augusta of Christina Hundred in the
County of New Castle by his petition has set
forth that a Survey was made by Thomas Pierson
of 800 of Land for Neels Lawson Friend on
the 15th of the fourth month and that John
Friend and
Lawrence Friend, sons of the said Neals Lawson Friend by their
Indenture dated 7 Mar 1725/6 conveyed the
remaining part of the said 800 acres deemed to
be 200 acres to their brother Gabriel Friend,
a part having been before sold to one John
Anderson Coxe, and that the said Gabriel by his
deed dated 12 M0.74emay 1726 recorded at New
Castle sold the remainder of said Land bounded
by Red Clay Creek Land of Charles
Springer the elder and land formerly of
Paul Rose containing 176 acres or thereabouts unto John Springer
and his brother Charles. That Charles
Springer by deed dated 28 Mar 1752 released
the westerly Moiety of said Tract by certain
Meets and Bounds unto the said John Springer.
That there was formerly surveyed for a certain
George Hogg a Tract of Land of about 600 acres
joining the above mentioned tract of Neels
Lawson Friend which was divided by Thomas
Pierson in the year 1702 between Henry Snicker,
John Hyland and Paul Rose, the the said
Snicker's part thereof was confirmed to him by
Patent. That the part of said Paul Rose
became vested in the said John Springer and
William Dixon who made division therof
between them and have had peacable possession
ever since but that the conveyances were
consumed by fire. That the said John
Springer being seized of a moiety of the said
two Tracts of Land as aforesaid by his last will
and testament in writing devised all his estate
in the said land to the said John Augusta as by
said petition to us this day exhibited ... These

29 Apr 1751 Zebulon Alexander marries Hannah
Hodgeson in New Castle Co. DE - he will later move to
North Carolina - it is his son Zenos/Zeneus that appears first on the
Hardin Co. tax list in KY and then goes over to Christian Co. KY. He
has been given to several different set of Alexander parents over the
years which makes me suspect no absolute evidence has been found of
parentage?
