This web page is about the early history of this little community that was once a wagon stop on a major US migration route west in the early and mid 1800s and where my Jenkins grandfather lived for over 75 years. Now it has all but disappeared and nearly forgotten. I hope to keep it's history and the memory of those early families that settled or passed through Mason Hall alive here for their descendants. Items to be included are the history ... The Beginning ... of Mason Hall, many of it's first settlers, cemetery listings, maps, census, photos, and tax lists. Links are provided for the Obion and Gibson County Genealogy web sites to assist in your research. Others researching thier ancestors of the Mason Hall community have posted thier addresses, web pages, or files, to enable others to compare information. The genealogy of the individuals mentioned in the history and the other early residents can be found in my Mason Hall WorldConnect database on RootsWeb.
The history starts here > THE BEGINNING
Contributions to the history, photos of Mason Hall or its early settlers, are welcome.
