| My earliest proven Ancestor is MATTHIAS RICHARDSON, born in 1749, in Virginia. It is generally accepted that Matthias father was a WILLIAM RICHARDSON, but definite proof has yet to be found. Matthias and his wife Frances 'Fannie' Clark, had JOHN R.RICHARDSON, the source of the above speach, and he had STEPHEN MATTHIAS RICHARDSON who married FRANCES AVELINE LAWRENCE. The had JOHN HARRIS RICHARDSON who was born in 1844 in Pickens County,Alabama. In the late 1850s he and his family traveled by Wagon Train to Texas where he married my Gr.GrandmotherLAURA ELIZA THOMPSON. My gr.Grandparents settled in Henderson County,Texas, where they lived around Athens. On a recent trip to SC and TX I took many grave photos of Richardsons who I thought belonged to my Richardson family tree, only to discover that I can not place them into my data. Please click onto the link 'next' below and see if you recognize any names. With your help maybe I can find a connecting Ancestor. |
