She married Lars Larson on April 4, 1836 at Mora, Dalarna, Sweden. The following children were born to them in Sweden: Mait Dec. 15, 1839 Våmhus, Mora. Sweden Andrew May 18, 1841 Våmhus, Mora, Sweden liver Jan. 31, 1844 Våmhus, Mora, Sweden Carrie Aug. 3, 1847 Våmhus, Mora, Sweden Mait Aug. 19, 1849 Våmhus, Mora, Sweden Becka 1852 Våmhus, Mora, Sweden All of the family emigrated to the USA except the first Mait, who probably died in Sweden before their emigration. It is not know if they travelled as a group or as individuals. Their son Oliver emigrated at the age of 19 and landed at Castle Garden, New York on July 29, 1863. Their son, Andrew Larson, left Sweden on July 5, 1863, according to his obituary. The passenger lists have not been found yet, so it is not known who travelled with them. Lars and Brita came to Dodge county, Nebraska and lived about 1 mile south of the present town of Uehling. Brita died on May 24, 1888 in Logan Pct., Dodge Co., NE, at the age of 72. The grave has not been found and it is believed that she was buried on the farm. There were no probate papers. The following notes are from the 1992 IGI. He married Brita Andersdotter on April 4, 1836 at Mora, Dalarna, Sweden. The following children were born to them in Sweden: Mait Dec. 15, 1839 Våmhus, Mora. His wife Brita Andersdotter was also born in Sweden, but the date and place are not known. They were married on April 4, 1836 at Mora, Dalarna, Sweden. The following children were born to them in Våmhus, Mora, Sweden: Mait on Dec. 15, 1839, but it is believed that she died as an infant; Andrew on May 18, 1841, he died at Uehling on July 24, 1908; Oliver on Jan 31, 1844, he died at Uehling on Feb. 16, 1912; Carrie on Aug. 3, 1847, she died in Logan Township on Mar. 2, 1893; Mary on Aug. 19, 1849, she died in Nebraska in 1890; and Becky in 1852, she died in Nebraska in 1916. The family (except Mait) emigrated to the USA and settled in Logan Township, Dodge County, Nebraska, south of the present town of Uehling. The only emigration information known is that Andrew left Sweden on July 5, 1863 and that Oliver landed at Castle Garden, NY on July 29, 1863. Brita died on May 24, 1889 and Lars, 77, died on August 29, 1890. During their final years they lived with and were in the care of their children. Lars' probate papers show that he did not own any real estate, and the probate papers do not show any evidence of a funeral or burial. Perhaps they were buried on the farm of their son, Oliver, in section 10 or on the farm of their daughter, Carrie Lund, in section 11, or their son, Andrew, who also lived nearby. Lars and Brita Larson's 5 children married as follows: (1) Andrew married Mary Anderson/Bowman on Aug. 22, 1864 and they had 7 children; Lars A., Andrew A., Mary Holmes, Oliver A., Peter A., and Eric A. They lived south of Uehling. (2) Oliver married Anna Olson on July 5, 1866 and they had 14 children; Oliver O., Unkown, Anna, Ann, Mary, Christina Realph, Charley O., Andrew O., Daniel O., Harvey O., Edward O., Minnie Koehler, Lillie Kammerer, and Elsie Woodruff. They lived south of Uehling. (3) Carrie married Lars Lund and they had 13 children, but 7 died in infancy. The surviving children were; Lars L., Mary Nelson, Eric L., William L., Andrew L., and Hattie Johnson. They lived south of Uehling. (4) Mary married Pete Peterson and they had 4 children; Henry C., William L., Frank H., and Arthur E. They lived in Omaha. (5) Becky married Erik Frost and they had 2 children; a daughter that married Louis E. Adams and a son, Harvey G. They lived in Omaha.
