Adams, widow of Louis E. Adams, Douglas County official for nearly half a century, died Monday at a local hospital. She was 85 and had lived at 3302 Vinton Street. Mr. Adams, former County surveyor and City Engineering Department employee, died in 1955. Mrs. Adams was a 50 year member of the Maple Leaf Chapter of the Orde rof Easterrn Star. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Bernice Skoglaund; son, Robert L., and three great-grandchildren, all of Omaha. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:30 p, m. at the N. P. Swanson Chapel. Memorials to the Omaha Home for Boys are suggested. She was probably born in or near Våmhus, Mora, Dalarna, Sweden. Her parents were Lars Larson and Brita Andersdotter Larson. She married Erick Frost, in December, 1875 at Omaha. She was the mother of 2 children; a daughter, Emma, married Louis E. Adams and a son Harvey Garfield Frost, unmarried. Harvey Frost is buried at the Baptist cemetery, Uehling, NE. Emma & Louis Adams lived in Omaha and are buried at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Omaha. Becky died in 1916 and is buried at the Baptist cemetery, Uehling, NE. Frost Dates on tombstone = 1881 - 1936 Parents = Erick & Becky (Larson) Frost Obituary The Hooper Sentinel April 9, 1936 The remains of the late Harvey Garfield Frost, of Omaha, were brought to Swaburg for burial in what is known as the Swedish Baptist cemetery here, on Thursday afternoon, following services at Omaha and also at the Congregational church at Uehling with its pastor, Mrs. Derelle E. Barber, officiating. Members of the Nebraska Power Company, of Omaha, where the deceased had been an employee for the past twenty-six years, acted as pall-bearers. Mr. Frost, who was widely-known in this community were he has several relatives, passed away at Omaha on Sunday of last week at the age of fifty-five years from a hemorrhage of the brain. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Erick Frost, and is survived by one sister, Mrs. Louis E. Adams, of Omaha. The deceased was a cousin of Fred Frost and Mrs. Lars Larson, of Swaburg. Following the services here, members of the funeral party and relatives were served a luncheon in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Larson.
