Museum of Newton Stewart |
The Museum, Newton-Stewart, offers its services as a collecting point for details of families from the town and the Cree valley (Minnigaff and
Penninghame parishes essentially). This would include outline family trees
and names of researchers. If anyone wishes to send a contact name and/or
family material, it will be filed and indexed for reference. The Museum does
not have any records and is unable to do family research, but the volunteers do
have local knowledge.
