BLUFF CITY – Ona Bell Pickle Harless, age 94, passed away, Monday, Oct. 4, 2004,
in the Cambridge House.
She was born June 18, 1910, and was a daughter of the late Sam and Sally
Lunsford Pickle. She was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and was a
retired employee of Seviers Laundry of Bristol Virginia, with many years of
service. She was also a homemaker and loved her family dearly. She was of the
Baptist faith, was the widow of Walter B. Harless and preceded in death by five
brothers and one sister.
Survivors include: two daughters, Gay Hinkle and husband Haskel, Bluff City and
Louise Blaylock, Bristol Tennessee; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren;
three great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004, in the
Weaver Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Howard Campbell officiating. The committal
will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Rust Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
