Will of G.W. Minton deceased.

I, G.W. Minton of the county of Washington and state of Virginia, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in the matter and form following to- wit, item 1st. I will bequeath to Mrs. H. P. Minton my beloved wife all of my landed estate, all of my personal property, all money, bonds & of what kind so ever during her natural life time provided she remains my widow and at her death said estate is to be divided equally among my children, out of this estate my said wife to pay all my just debts, doctor bills and burial expenses, i hereby make and constitute my said wife my sole executrix of my entire estate,

I do not require her to give bond either in or out of court as my executrix, given under my hand and seal. This October the 27th. 1913. his

Virginia: in the clerk's office of the circuit court of Washington county on the 16th. day of September,1914 before the clerk of said court.

A writing purporting to be the last will and testament of G.W. Minton, deceased, was this day produced before the clerk of the circuit court of Washington County, Virginia, in. his office, and said writing and signature thereto was proven by the oath of A.M. Hagy, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto, and the due attestation of J.B. Jones the other subscribing witness thereto was proven by the oath of the said A.M .Hagy. It is therefore ordered that the said writing be recorded as the true last will and testament of the said.

GEORGE WASHINGTON MINTON son of SAMUEL MINTON and ELIZABETH EVANS was born 31 May 1847 in Russell County, Virginia, and died 04 November 1917 in Abingdon, Virginia. He married HULDA PRISCILLA GIBSON 25 January 1867 in Buchana County, Virginia, daughter of WILLIAM GIBSON (1815-?) and SABRA HORN (1819-?). She was born 1845 in Virginia, and died 28 February 1937 in Washington County, Virginia.
