He married MARTHA J DICKENSON 1851 in Russell County, Virginia, daughter of GRIFFITH DICKENSON and FRANCES UNKNOWN. She was born 29 May 1831 in Russell County, Virginia, and died 03 September 1896 in Carter County, Kentucky.
Buried in Wilcox Cemetery, Carter County, Kentucky.
