FRANCIS MARION WALLACE son of ALFRED POWELL WALLACE (1869 – 1941) and MARY JANE WHEELER (1872-1957) was born 25 July 1898 in Wofford, Whitley County, Kentucky, and died 17 April 1922 in Highsplint, Harlan County, Kentucky. He married LOIS LAY before 1922. She was born 19 July 1907 and died in childbirth on 29 April 1922 in Harlan County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of EDWARD LAY (?-1936) and JULIA LOGAN (1886-1967).
