Daniel McGill was born 31 Jan 1799 in NC and died 22 Dec 1873 in Danville, Montgomery Co., TX.  The 1870 Danville census tells us that he was a farmer.  At that time he was living with Tabitha McGill, 47, who was born in Georgia and there were two children in the home: Daniel, age 8, b. TX and Harriett, 12, b. Tx.  His wife, Elizabeth is buried next to him.
