Susannah Hardy - 16 July 1861 - 24 Nov 1914 -

This is the last will and testament of me Susannah Hardy of Shirland, near Alfreton in the County of Derbyshire. Widow.

I hereby revoke all wills and testamentary instruments, theretofore by me made.I appoint Albert Hardy and Christopher Hardy of Shirland, near Alfreton to the the sole executors of this my will.

I direct my executors, the said Albert Hardy and Christopher Hardy to pay my just debts and funeral testamentary expenses.

I leave one hundred pounds to my son, John William Hardy and one hundred pounds to my son, James Christopher Hardy I direct that after my death that everything shall be sold and equally divided between,

Alfred Hardy, Tilly Hardy, Albert Hardy, Ernest Hardy, Ethel ......? , Harry Hardy and Mabel Parks, my children.

The balance of the Two Hundred and Eighty Pounds, six shillings and eight pence, which is deposited in Parrs? Bank Alfreton, shall be equally divided Alfred Hardy, Tilly Hardy , Albert Hardy, Ernest Hardy and Ethel .....? , Harry Hardy and Mabel Parks, my children,

after the one hundred pounds each, has been paid to my two sons, John William Hardy and James Christopher Hardy. In witness whereof I have to this my last will, set my hand this 20th day of November 1914.

On the 23rd Day of March 1915, probate of this will was granted at Derby to Albert Hardy and James Christopher Hardy, the executors.-----NOTE:'Tilly' is Matilda Hardy, she and Alfred Hardy (Junior) were the children of Lavinia and Alfred Hardy (Senior) Albert Hardy, is Susannah's son, before she married Alfred Hardy (Senior.)John William Hardy and James Christopher Hardy got £100.00. EACH

The other poor sods got £11.4s 0d each!!! plus whatever was left from the sale of properties etc and after funeral and testamentary expenses.
