Clarence C. Hagerman, only son of Charles E. and Margaret M. Hagerman, was born Sept. 23, 1884, on a farm in Ogden townshp. His entire life until 18 years ago was spent in that vicinity. He then moved to Adrian and has since made his home here. At an early age he joined the United Brethren church and after coming to Adrian he united with the Methodist Protestant church. He was married to Miss Edith M. Robinson of Metamora, Ohio, and to this union were born four children, Howard J., Helen M., Mark J., and Norman C. In addition to these he is survived by two sisters Mrs. Stella Stetten and Mrs. Edith Mackey, all of Adrian. He enjoyed a wide circle of friends made through business and social contacts. He departed this life early Thursday morning, Jan. 5, 1939, at the age of 54 years, three months and 13 days. The funeral was held at the Everiss Funeral Home Saturday afternoon, Jan. 7 at 2 o'clock. The burial was in Oakwood cemetery. Dr. H. L. Feeman officiated.
