Mrs. Frances Josephine Fisk, aged 70 years, the widow of Edward P. Fisk died last night at 11 o’clock in the home at 731 College Avenue. Death was caused by an acute attach of heart asthma. Mrs. Fisk was born on a farm east of Morenci to Abram and Laura McKenzie Poucher on March 7, 1862 and spent her girlhood in the home of her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Poucher in Morenci. Her marriage to Edward P. Fisk of West Adrian took place June 13, 1883 and for 12 years they resided on a farm, now the home of William Ruesink in West Adrian in the year of 1895 they moved to Adrian and Mrs. Fisk became a member of the First Methodist Episcopal Church in this city where she has been a faithful member. Her daily life was one of exemplary Christian living and she brought to those who knew her proof of the fruits of long suffering, kindness, faithfulness and self-control. She is survived by two daughters Mrs. W. B. (Anna) Crowe of Pittsburg, Pa. and Mrs. George (Nellie) Hahn of Adrian; three sisters, Mrs. W. Smith of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. A. W. Williams, who made her home with Mrs. Fisk and Mrs. William Wolf of Seneca and two brothers F. M. Poucher of Morenci and W. A. Poucher of Huntington, Ind., and 11 grandchildren. The funeral is to be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the home with the Rev. F. A. Lendruff of the Methodist Episcipal Church officating. (Typist – she died October 5, 1932)
