JASPER DEATH OF MOSES BRYAN AT TOLEDO ON SUNDAY Jasper, Mich., Jan 31 (1911) --Edward Bryan accompanied his father, Moses Bryan, to Toledo, Thursday where the latter underwent an operation at St. Vincent’s hospital. It was thought he was doing nicely until Sunday afternoon when word was received over the phone that he was dying. He passed away a little later. Moses Bryan was one of Fairfield’s highly respected citizens, residing on a farm near Ridgeville. Besides the widow, three children, all of whom are married, Edward of Jasper, Mrs. Edith Bryan of Ogden and Carl of Fairfield township, are left to mourn the departed one. The funeral was held today at Ridgeville at 1 o’clock. Moses P. Bryan Moses P. Bryan was born at Cambridge Guernsey county, O., April 14, 1849. His death occurred Jan. 29 (1911) at St. Vincent’s hospital, Toledo, O., following an operation. He came to Michigan with his parents when about 14 years old. He was united in marriage with Alida Gardinier Sept. 19, 1872. To this union five children were born, He leaves to mourn his loss one brother, a widow, three children, Edward S., Mrs. Edith Bryan and Carl M. two of his children, Edson G. and Mrs. Eleanor Pawl having died. He also leaves one grandson, one adopted grandson and a host of relatives. He was a loving father, a faithful husband and a kind neighbor, who will be sadly missed from the community where he has lived so long.
