Edward S. Bryan Special In the Telegram Blissfield, July 22 (1953) -- Edward S. Bryan, 79 years old, died Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. at Bixby hospital in Adrian where he had been a patient since last Thursday. He had been in failing health for several months. Born in Amboy township, Ohio, he resided in Ogden township operating a threshing machine and a sawmill. In 1897 he was married to Etta Fogelsong and in 1944 they moved to their present home at 144 South Monroe Street in Blissfield. He had been employed at Tecumseh Products. A son preceded him in death in February 1951. In addition to his wife he is survived by six grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Mrs Edith Bryan, and a brother, Carl Bryan, both of Swanton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Tagsold Funeral Home. The Rev. Wilmer Miller of Michigan Center will officiate and burial will be in Pleasant View cemetery.
