A History of the John Cears/Kear family
Jacob FRISINGER, son of Johan Peter FRISINGER and Anna Catherine AKER, was born in 1807 in Rockingham County, Virginia and died on January 1855. He married Elizabeth --- on 11 December 1827 in Mercer County, Ohio.
Jacob and Elizabeth had five children:
1. Elizabeth FRISINGER born about 1828 in Ohio.
2. Ann FRISINGER born about 1830 in Ohio.
3. John FRISINGER born about 1838 in Ohio.
4. Thomas Jefferson FRISINGER born on 8 March 1845 in Mercer County, Ohio, and died in Vermilion County, Illinois on 30 June 1901. He married Lydia Elizabeth PUTMAN on 25 July 1877 in Mercer County, Ohio. Lydia was born 7 December 1851 to Andrew PUTMAN and Dartha Huldah Dolly RICHTER, and died on 20 October 1901 in Vermilion County, Illinois.
Thomas and Lydia had 10 children:
1. Emma
FRISINGER was born on 7 December
1868 in Zanesville,
Muskingham County, Ohio; died on 19 March 1938 in Westville, Vermilion
County, Illinois.
2. Molly
FRISINGER died young.
3. Bertie
FRISINGER died young.
4. Charlie
FRISINGER died young.
5. Willie
FRISINGER died young.
6.
Florence
FRISINGER died young.
7. Eva
Maude
FRISINGER was born 23 July 1883 in Vermilion
County, Illinois, and died on 21 January 1959 in Vermilion County,
Illinois.
8. Myrtle
Belle FRISINGER,
who was born 12 September 1885 in
Vermilion
County, Illinois, married John Daniel LAMB on 12 May 1902 in Danville,
Vermilion County, Illinois. Myrtle died on 5 May
1940 in Danville,
Vermilion County, Illinois. Daniel was born on 20
March 1880 in
Madison County, Kentucky to Thomas Jefferson LAMB and Elizabeth KEENE,
and died on 26 April 1968 in Crawfordsville, Montgomery County, Indiana.
9. Edith Pearl FRISINGER was
born 3
September 1889 in
Vermilion County, Illinois, and died on 12 September 1941 in Elwood,
Madison County, Indiana.
10. Olive
Lanora FRISINGER
was born 19 March
1893 in
Vermilion County, Illinois, and died on 16 August 1954 in Arkansas.
5. Elizabeth FRISINGER born about 1849 in
Ohio.
