Johan Peter Frisinger

Johan Peter FRISINGER, son of Ludwig Friederick FREYSlNGER and Elizabeth PLESSEN/BLETZ, was born 30 June 1779 in Conewago Twp, York Co, Pennsylvania, and died 4 January 1815 in Norfolk, Virginia. He married Catherine AKER,daughter of Johan AKER and Catharine WORLEY, on 18 November 1797 in York Co., Pennsylvania, but there is no record of this marriage. She was born 12 January 1773 in York Co., Pennsylvania. A Peter FRISINGER married Susan Catherine COLMAN, but there is no proof this is the same Peter who married Catherine AKER [note 1].

Johan and Catherine had 11 children:

1. Elizabeth FRISINGER was born in 1794 [note 2]. She married Christian BODEY on 16 November 1815 in Rockingham Co., Virginia. He was born 6 October 1795 [note 3].

2. Jacob FRISINGER.

3. William FRISINGER was born 25 December 1798 and died 12 April 1836 in Mercer Co., Ohio.

4. Sarah FRISINGER was born 25 October 1800 and died 17 November 1869 in Champaign Co., Ohio. She married William KITE on 2 September 1818 in Champaign Co., Ohio [note 4].

5. Margaret Rebecca FRISINGER (known as Polly) was born 28 March 1802 in Shenandoah Co., Virginia and died 10 February 1891. She married Lewis BODEY/BOODEY who was born on 4 February 1783 and died 1 September 1839 [note 5]. After the death of Lewis, she married William KITE. William was born on 13 October 1870 and died 2 August 1873 [note 6].

6. Polly FRISINGER was born in 1804.

7. Mary Ann FRISINGER was born in 1806.

8. John Louis FRISINGER was born 20 January 1807 in Rockingham Co., Virginia. He married Elizabeth BALTZELL/PAULSER on 9 September 1830 in Van Wert Co., Ohio. Elizabeth was born 24 July 1805 and died 3 November 1888.

9. Peter FRISINGER.

10. Catharine FRYSINGER. Catherine married Thomas Reed KEAR.

11. Noah FRISINGER was born 28 September 1813, Rockingham Co., Virginia; he died in Mercer Co., Ohio.
