Steamer TRANSIT

The first mention of the steamer TRANSIT by JW in his journal is during June 1905 when she docks for a new hull, this is JW's first hull job as Foreman.  On June 1,1919 she docks to have her wheel repaired along with other repairs.  On September 14, 1920 JW writes that she is not seaworthy and then on October 19, 1920 she is docked by orders of the U. S. Inspectors.
