JW made a brief entry in his journal during May 1929 concerning this VOLCANO, built in 1916,sinking near Fayette City. According to Ways Towboat Directory the location was Dunlevy which is across the river from Fayette City.  The photo below shows the VOLCANO capsized in 1929.
