Boaz in Wednesday December 22, 1909  she went away through the Ice

December 24, 1909  Steamer Jim Brown Docked  the Ice wore her out    sheet Iron - Head & sides  Rake Calked and battened    in Friday eve  December 24, 1909

Wet Snow and drizzeling rain all day Christmas

Wheel Job on Steamer Rover  December 31, 1909  finished at 4:30 A.M. January 1, 1910   other repairs to wheel chain braces - fantail - coupling bars & deck

The River is froze and so full of Ice the Boats are wearing their wheels out faster than we can repair them

Ice broke up Monday January 3, 1910  river up 22 ft.

January 5, 1910  worked all night on Wheel Steamer Tornado and on Thursday January 6 till 8:45 P.M.  heavy fall of sleet and snow night of 6th and 7th   Steve Howard received a weting that resulted in his death.

Tuesday January 12, 1910  two more strikers went to work  George Ausburn and Frank Young.  Wilcoxen and J.Reed went to work Friday January 8, 1910.   Jas McClure came January 14, 1910.

Strike declared off Monday eve January 17, 1910 at the old wages after 5 months idleness.

Saturday January 22  heavy snow all day   at 8 P.M. snowing harder than ever
