The
photo on the left is from the collection of Chris Contakos, a descendant of
Capt. Joseph Walthour ( Waltower) who ran this boat on the Youghiogheny
River, one of only a few boats to do this.
The
photo on the right is from the September 1968 edition of the S&D
Reflector and the caption reads that this is the only know photo of a
steamboat on the Youghiogheny.
