From collection of an unknown riverbuff Steamer MONONGAHELA The wheel of the Steamer MONONGAHELA

This boat was built in 1927 and JW writes in his journal on May 6, 1927 that the new MONONGAHELA goes up the river which I read as meaning he saw the boat on this early trip after it was built.
