This video
clip was taken on July 2, 1934,during the Elizabeth, PA Centennial
Celebration. A Riverboat Parade was part of this celebration and
many steamboats of that era participated in this parade, many of which are
shown on the complete video. The clip you will be viewing is one
minute of a forty minute video tape. The 16mm movie was taken in 1934, in
storage for over sixty years, copied to a video tape with music and
narration then added. The narration is by a riverman from Elizabeth, Vinson Volpi, who
passed away during 2000. The quality of the film has suffered during
its storage and transfer to video, but to me is a fantastic find. The file will take a few seconds to
