From collection of Cincinnati Public Library

This boat burned in 1917 and the machinery went onto the Steamer SAM BARNUM.  JW wrote in his journal that he was doing work on the bulkhead of the  "PEARSY" on April 4, 1923.  It is my assumption that the hull of the PEARCY  was in the boneyard across from the Elizabeth Marine Ways and because of damage by the Steamer VOYAGER work needed to be performed on the bulkhead.
