Ms. Wilma Lee Furmon, age 46 of Rt. 2 Mt. Vernon, died Monday, Sep. 1 at her home. She was born in Berea, KY on Aug. 16, 1957 the daughter of Joe and Mary Ellen Farthing Martin. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Joe Martin of Mt. Vernon and Mary Ellen Sexton (James Richard) of Scaffold Cane, she is survived by a son, Shane Noble of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Amy VanWinkle (Chris) of Orlando; two brothers, Gary Miracle and Wendell Martin, both of Mt. Vernon; three sisters, Benda Hall, Vickie Rice, and Cheyenne Isaacs, all of Mt. Vernon; and three grandchildren.
