He was born in Rockcastle County on Mar. 23, 1912 the son of Johnie and Laura Ball French. He was a farmer and a member of the First Church of Jesus Christ at Sand Springs. He is survived by five sons, Charles B. French and Johnie French, both of Shelbyville, Dallas H. French of Simpsonville, and Joe French and Paul French, both of Crab Orchard; and three daughters, Gladys Bryant and Lois French, both of Shelbyville, and Zelma Taylor of Simpsonville. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl Blackburn French; his parents, Johnie and Laura French; four brothers; and one sister. |
