She was born on March 3, 1921 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Vall G. and Rissie Ramsey Wright. She was a retired drug store clerk having worked for both Maggards & Youngs Pharmacy, she enjoyed sewing, reading, quilting, painting, gardening, and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors are: one sister; Mrs. Audrey Hamm of Rt.#1 Brodhead. Two nephews; Shannon & Vall Franklin. Three grandchildren; Melissa Lynch, Hillary Holmes, and Vall Roy Mink. Four great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by: her first husband; Carl “Pott” Baker, her second husband; Ed Farris, by one daughter; Carla Baker Mink, and by one sister; Wanda Franklin. |
