Vernon, KY died Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at the Rockcastle Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born in Clay County, KY on April 21, 1916 the daughter of Lee and Hattie Williams Chestnut. She was a homemaker and was of the Holiness Faith. She is survived by two sons, Tommy Falin (Alwanda) of Mt. Vernon and Dallas Falin of Pine Hill; five daughters, Evelyn Miller (Casper) of Orlando, KY, Alma Jean Smith (Shirley) of Mt. Vernon, Linda Stewart (Carl) of Pine Hill, Inas Leger (Charles) of Berea, KY, and Martina Leger (Benny) of Brodhead, KY; and one brother, Elmer Chestnut of Hamilton, OH. Also surviving are more than 80 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orbin Falin; two daughters, Alice Falin and Irene Stewart; two sons, Bobby Falin and Ellis Falin; three sisters; three brothers; and three grandchildren. |
