| Published in The Courier-Journal on 7/29/2004 EVANS, RAY, 76, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday evening at his home. He was born in Rockcastle County, KY, a retired engineer for General Electric Corporation and served in the Army as an aerial photographer during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Colleen "Norma" Evans; daughter, LaDonna Rae Bemus of Louisville; grandson, Evan Crawford Bemus; and three sisters, Betty McWhorter of Somerset, KY, Barbara Bell of Louisville and Dorothy Sparrow of Memphis, TN. The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, KY, with burial in Piney Grove Cemetery in Brodhead. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Rd., and after noon Friday at Marvin E. Owens. |
