Edward is the son of the late James and Sinda Truett Elam. Edward is a retired service Technician for Sunstate Ford in Orlando Florida. Edward is also a World War II US Navy veteran and a member of the Berea Church of God. Edward is survived by his wife Virginia Elam of Berea and three children: Don (Norin) Elam of Franklin, GA. Brenda (Larry) Nicholson of Orlando, FL. And Robert (Anita) Elam of Franklin, GA. 2 sisters Cathleen Teague of Berea and Doris Starling of Greenwood SC, 9 grandchildren Brock Elam, Taylor Elam, Jamie Browning, Pamela Nicholson, Amanda Nicholson, Don Elam II, Doniece Bartels, Seth Elam and Rebekah Rivers. And two great grandchildren Devon Elam and Dominic Elam. Funeral services will be Monday Oct. 31, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Lakes Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen Hobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Seth Elam, Devon Elam, David Bartels, Jamie Browning, Brock Elam, Lt.
