| Benny Edwards (January 3, 1936 - January 14, 2006) Benny Edwards, 70, husband of Alice C. Edwards died on Saturday (January 14, 2006) at his home. He was the son of the late Ben E. Lillie Mae Edwards. Other than his wife Alice C. Edwards he was survived by one son Benny Ray Edwards (Gail) of Richmond, Ky and one daughter, Marcia Pinter (Steve) of Fairfax, Virginia; Three grandchildren, Angela Pinter, Steven Pinter and Reece Edwards. He was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Edwards and one sister, Nancy Hamilton. He was a retired employee of 26 years with the American Tobacco Company, also retired from Eastern Kentucky University as a night supervisor and worked part time with A & A Express. He was a member of the Madison Hills Christian Church and graduated with the 1955 class at Madison High School. He also belonged to the Masonic Lodge F & AM #25 and belonged to the Scottish rite and was a Shriner and was a past member of the Richmond Jaycees. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Marty Frazer officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Shelby Tevis, Jerome Tudor, Jamie Barnhill, Danny Tucker, Eddie Winkler, Scott Coomer, Tommy Hawkins and Dick Bonita.
