Mrs. Alene Eaton age 83, of 170 Perciful St. Mt. Vernon died Wednesday February 4, 2004 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born on December 26, 1920 in Rockcastle County the daughter of the late Henry Eli and Flossie Mae Todd Bullen. She was a retired bookkeeper, and a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors are: two sons; John G. Eaton Jr., and David L. Eaton Sr. both of Mt. Vernon. Seven grandchildren; John Eaton III, David Eaton Jr., Angela Eaton, Shannon Eaton, Mark Eaton Julia Coulter, and Maria Weaver. Fourteen great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by: John G. Eaton Sr., one brother; John Bullen, by two sisters; Helen Barrett, and Catherine Robinson, and by one infant great grandchild.
