Owens Home for Funerals Chapel Interment: Piney Grove Cemetery Mrs. Joyce Darlene Renner Delph, age 48, wife of George "Eddie" Delph, of Brodhead, died Friday, November 4, 2005 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, Ky. She was born on Jan. 18, 1957 in Crab Orchard, Ky., a daughter of the late Leonard Renner and Dorothy Pauline Taylor Renner. She was a member of the Brodhead Christian Church, and her hobbies and interest was keeping the house clean. She was a homemaker, a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. On January 18, 1973, she was united in holy matrimony to George Eddie Delph and from that union came four children-Charles Edward, Paula Ann, Elizabeth Marie and Christopher Scott Delph. Those left to mourn her passing include her husband of 32years, George Eddie Delph of Brodhead; four children-Charles Edward Delph of Brodhead; Paula Ann Russell and husband Davey of Mt. Vernon; Elizabeth Marie Delph of Brodhead; and Christopher Scott Delph and wife Erin of Mt. Vernon; seven grandchildren-Kaitlyn, Ethan, Coty, Paige, Callie, Brooklyn and Cameron. Two brothers-Vernon Wayne Renner and wife Teresa of Crab Orchard; and Leonard Renner, Jr. and wife Brenda of Brodhead; Two sisters- Barbara Martin of Brodhead; and Judy Beasley and husband Jerry of Somerset, Ky. As well as a host of friends and neighbors. Besides her father, she was preceded in death by a brother-Freddie Renner and two infant siblings-Johnny Ray Renner and Suetta Renner. Visitation for Mrs. Darlene Delph will be Sun. Nov. 6, from 6-9PM at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead; Funeral services will be conducted Mon. Nov. 7, at 2PM, at the Marvin E. Owens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tracy Valentine officiating; burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. |
