| Mr. Larry Deaton Born: 05/03/1948 Died: 11/18/2005 Visitation: Monday 6:00 - 9:00 PM Funeral Service: Tuesday 1:00 PM Interment: Berea Cemetery Larry Deaton, 57, of Bratcher Lane, Berea, died Fri. Nov. 18, 2005 at Central Baptist Hospital after a short illness. He was a Jackson County native born May 3, 1948, son of the late John and Arkie Maggard Deaton, a resident of the Berea area all his life, employee of American Greetings for 34 years, an avid golfer, and member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Survivors include his loving wife of 27 years, Irene Shouse Deaton of Berea; 1 brother, Johnny Deaton of Tyner; 1 sister in law, Thelma (Wendell) Spradlin of Berea; 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great nieces, 3 great nephews, as well as numerous relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister, Joann Burch, and 1 nephew, Bryan Deaton. Funeral 1:00 pm Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005 at Reppert Funeral Home with Bro. Edwin Lainhart, Bro. Levi Lainhart and Bro. Roy Himes officiating. Burial will follow in Berea Cemetery. Visitation 6 - 9 Monday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be: Kevin McMullin, David Dickerson, Charles McClure, Dallas McGuire, Russell Himes, Harold Himes, Jeff Himes, Harvey Whittemore. |
