Vernon, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004 at Rockcastle County Hospital following an illness. She was born Aug. 10, 1944, daughter of the late Cal Chasteen and Myrtle Abney Chasteen Adams, homemaker, member of Roundstone Baptist Church, and resident of Rockcastle County most of her life. Survivors include her husband, Bradley Conn; 1 son, Robin (Judy) Conn of Mt. Vernon; 2 daughters, Phyllis (Mark) Adams, Donna Conn both of Berea; 2 brothers, James Chasteen of Richmond, Bruce Chasteen of Berea; 2 sisters, Phyllis Vos of Newport, Lois McHone of Berea; 6 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 1 brother Don Chasteen. Funeral service 1:00 PM, Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004 at Mason Lake Community Church with Pastor Mark Adams and Pastor Gordon Mink officiating. Burial will follow in Chasteen Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Visitation 6 - 9 PM, Wednesday, Dec. 29 at Reppert Funeral Home in Berea. Pallbearers will be: Robin Conn, Jeff Conn, Jimmy Dooley, Bill Chasteen, Mikeal Adams, Mark Mink. |
