She was a native of Richmond, a clerk at Wal-Mart and a Baptist. Mrs. Collins is survived by: her husband, Earl (E.J.) Collins of Berea; son, Stephen M. (Donna) Collins of Richmond, Va.; daughter, Stacy LaDonna Collins (Carlos Layne) Hocker of Richmond, Ky.; brother, David (Darlene) Henderson, of Berea, Ky.; sister-in-laws, Sandra Henderson and Carol Collins both of Richmond, Ky.; 3 grandchildren, Alex Layne, Samantha Williams and Bailey Collins. She was preceded in death by her parents Owen and Addie Bernice Trower Henderson; son, William Edward Collins; brothers, Joseph and John Hunt Henderson. Funeral services for Mrs. Collins will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Davis & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie “Butch” Pennington officiating. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. |
