| Published: October 05, 2006 The Richmond Register Minnie Bell Winburn Coleman Minnie Bell Winburn Coleman, 92, of Hisle Drive, Richmond, widow of Clyde Coleman, died Wednesday, October 04, 2006, in Pattie A. Clay Regional Medical Center. She was born in Madison County on Jan. 22, 1914, the daughter of the late Alfred and Bertha Long Winburn. She was a retired employee of Eastern Kentucky University Athletic Department and a member of First Methodist Church. She was a life member of Madison County Democratic Women’s Club and a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include: three daughters, Myrtle Riddell (Charles), Carroll Hackworth and Mary Lois Terry, all of Richmond; one brother, Harold J. Winburn of Stillwater, Okla.; one sister, Margaret Fisher (Bill) of Nicholasville; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Marcus Winburn and Merle Winburn; and two granddaughters, Dee Fortney and Polly Terry. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at Combs, Parsons, & Collins Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Guiley officiating. Burial will follow in Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Combs, Parsons, & Collins Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Michael Riddell, Thomas Hackworth, Wallace Terry, Frank Coleman, David Coleman and Gary Lee Winburn. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy and Susan Kidd, Jack and Lottie Hissom, Les Ramsdell, Harvey T. Hackworth and James Terry. |
