Mrs. Rosie June Cochran, age 82 of Mt. Vernon, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004 at the Rockcastle Hospital. She was born in Perry County on Aug. 8, 1922 the daughter of Preston and Fannie Couch Parsons. She was homemaker and a member of the Mt. Vernon Church of God.

She is survived by a son, Clyde "Buddy" Phillips of Cincinnati, OH; a daughter, Wanda Mullins (Bill) of Mt. Vernon; and a brother, Ernest Parsons of Cincinnati, OH. Also surviving are six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Cochran.
