| Robert Christopher (December 23, 1924 - June 29, 2006) Robert T. Christopher, 81, of Timothy Way, the husband of Edna Lee Murphy Christopher, passed away Thursday evening, June 29, 2006, at Telford Terrace. A native of Irvine, KY, he was the son of the late Andrew and Ella Alexander Christopher. He was a retired carpentry foreman and a U. S. Army veteran of WWII, where he fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Mr. Christopher was a 50 year, plus, member of Waco Lodge #338, F. & A.M. and of the Scottish Rite bodies. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Other than his loving wife, Edna, he is survived by one son, Robert D. Christopher, and his wife, Sandy, of Lexington, KY; one brother, A. J. Christopher of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Jean Radcliff of Florence, KY and Susan Mascola of State College, PA. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday at Oldham Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Maynard officiating. Burial will follow at Flatwoods Cemetery with military honors observed. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Oldham, Roberts & Powell with a Masonic service at 7:30 pm on Tuesday. |
