Vernon, KY died Thursday, Dec. 28 at the Rockcastle Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was born in Corbin, KY on Nov. 7, 1909 the daughter of Albert and Mae Merrick Cummins. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Mt. Vernon. She is survived by a daughter, Alice Mae Faulkner of Mt. Vernon; one granddaughter, Annette Beardsley of Berea, KY; and two great grandchildren, Grant Thompson and Jessy Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Elige Childress; two brothers; and two sisters. |
