Chasteen age 77 passed away Jan. 26, 2006 at Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center after a long illness. He was born in West Middletown, OH on April 4, 1928 to the late William and Bertha Houndshell Chasteen. He is survived by six brothers and one sister Melvin (Dorothy) of Berea, Roy (Gracie) of Middletown, OH, Clyde (Patsy) of Berea, Ralph (Georgia) of Richmond, James (Juanita) of Mt. Vernon, Arnold of Alabama and Carrie Simpson of Camden, OH; 3 special nephews and a special niece, Marvin, Denzil, Wesley Chasteen and Glenna Mink. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers John, Eldon and Ernest Chasteen. Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Randal Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Friday evening at Lakes Funeral Home. |
