William Chapman age 78 of E. Haiti Rd. Berea died Saturday at Berea Hospital. William is a World War II US Navy Veteran, and farmer. William was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Valeria Whittaker Jordan.

William is survived by his wife Grace Anglin Chapman of Berea. 2 daughters: Francis (Jerold) Pigg of Kingsport, TN. Debra Seals of Cincinnati, OH. 1 son James (Margaret) Chapman of Richmond, KY. He also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday July 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home. Rev. Kenny Davis will officiate, and burial will be in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday July 18, 2004 from 6 -9 p.m. at the Lakes Funeral Home.
