Mr. Jackie Cash, age 64, of Ottawa, Ky., husband of Mabel Irene Caldwell Cash passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at his residence.

He was born on April 12, 1939 in Ottawa, KY., a son of the late Edgar and Ellen Gentry Cash. He was a Deacon and Church Treasurer of 28years at the Providence Church of Christ at Quail, Ky. He was co-owner of 35 years @ Cash Hardware in Brodhead, Ky., and earned the degree of Master Plumber. He was a member of the Brodhead Fire Department; past VicePresident of the Rockcastle Co. Farm Bureau; member of the Rockcastle Co. Rescue Squad; and enjoyed his duties as “flagger” at the Cash Go-Cart Races.

Those left to mourn his passing include his wife, Mabel Irene Cash of Ottawa, KY. A son Shannon Lee Cash and Fiancée Melissa Albright of Brodhead, KY. A daughter Regina Colleen Cash of Brodhead, KY. A step-mother Mabel McQueary Cash of Lancaster, KY. A special mother in-law Edna Caldwell and a host of nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David F. Cash and infant brother-Robert Edgar Cash.

Visitation for Mr. Jackie Cash will be Friday, March 5th, 2004 – 6:00 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals and Saturday March 6th, 2004 – 10:00 A.M. Providence Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 6th, 2004 – 1:00 P.M. at the Providence Church of Christ, with Danny McKibben and Chris Craig officiating, burial will be in the Providence Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Providence Cemetery Fund.
