She was born in Rockcastle County on Apr. 3, 1918 the daughter of Isaac and Cleo Abney Bowman. She was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church. She is survived by two sons, Dale Franklin Carter and Herschell Frederick Carter, both of Orlando; two daughters, Millicent Marie Bond (Victor) and Octavia Beverly Sexton (Marion), both of Orlando; a brother, Jack Bowman of Somerset; and three sisters, Stella Sparks of Conway, Wetona Reams of Brindle Ridge, and Etta Brockman of Richmond, IN. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. |
