He was born on January 13, 1947 in Rockcastle County the son of Paul Carr of California, and the late Emiline Inez Carr. He was retired from the Army, a member of the V.F.W, a veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of the Parkway Church of God. Survivors are: his wife; Mrs. Mary Cromer Carr of Orlando. Four sons; James Paul Carr Jr., and wife Christy of Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, Robert E. Carr and wife Romy of Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany, and Michael L. Carr, and Dwayne Allen Carr both of Orlando. Four brothers; Tully Renner and wife Jenny of Orlando, Frank Stallsworth and wife Marlene of Roundstone, Jack Stallsworth and wife Dawn of Mt.Vernon, and Eddie Stallsworth and wife Regina of Mt.Vernon. Three sisters; Mrs. Mary Ann Gilliam and husband Bruner of Pine Hill, Mrs. Betty Hillard of Mt.Vernon, and Mrs. Judy Mullins and husband Randy of Orlando. Nine grandchildren; Brandon, Kimberly, Victor, Kristofer, Meranda, Shannon, Trace, Myca, and Travis Carr also survive. |
