Maggie was born in Rockcastle County to the late Vester Ray and Ettie Lue Coffey Cope. She was a member of the Big Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by 7 children Shirley VanWinkle of Paint Lick, Verdia Allen of Richmond, Ray Campbell of Richmond, Jerry Campbell of Waco, Donnie Campbell of Berea, Larry Campbell of Big Hill and Boyd Campbell of Mt. Vernon; 3 brothers Jim, George and John Cope; 3 sisters Nannie Griffin, Martha Griffin and Judy Smith; 14 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Ed Campbell, one son Ricky Campbell and one sister Vulor Rhodus. Funeral services will be 1 pm Tuesday March 14, 2006 at Lakes Funeral Home in Berea. Burial will follow in the Scaffold Cane Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening after 6 pm at Lakes Funeral Home and after 9 am on Monday. |
