Vernon, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born in Worthington, KY on December 28, 1948 the son of James Clifford Caldwell and Lula Butler Caldwell. He was a former steel mill worker, a member of the Maretburg Baptist Church, and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife, Billie Jean Harper Caldwell; five sons, Charles Brian Caldwell of Columbus, IN, Darren Caldwell of Deming, NM, David Wesley Caldwell and Charles Clifford Caldwell, both of Greenup, KY, and Christopher Caldwell of Mt. Vernon; one stepdaughter, Debra Wren of Richmond, KY; two stepsons, Kenny Graves and Randy Graves, both of Richmond, KY; and three sisters, Shirley Lester of Muncie, IN, Sandra Thompson of Tennessee, and Maxine Fannin of Worthington, KY. Also surviving are thirteen grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; and a special niece, Sheila Lovell. He was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. |
