Owens Home for Funerals Chapel Interment: Providence Cemetery Mr. Burdis Caldwell age 71, husband of Gwen Ballanger Caldwell passed away Thursday, May 4th, 2006 at his residence. He was born on June 4th, 1934 a son of the late Ray Orville and Elizabeth Todd Caldwell. He was of the Baptist faith, his hobbies and interest was cars. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 35 years. In 1952 he was united in holy matrimony to Gwen Ballanger and from that union came three children Barbara Lynn, Betty Ann, and Wayne Ty. Those left to mourn his passing include his wife Gwen Ballanger Caldwell, his children Barbara Lynn Wilson of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Wayne Ty Caldwell of Cincinnati, OH. Three Grandchildren, one brother, Carl Caldwell and Fern of Brodhead, KY, two sisters, Jo Ann Varab and Bob of Argos, IN, Loretta Brown and Lee of Sunman, IN. One special aunt, Edna Caldwell, of Brodhead, KY., Nieces, Nephews, Friends and neighbors. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter, Betty Ann Caldwell, two brothers, Orville and Jackie Caldwell, four sisters, Opal Pittman, Lorene Davidson, Juanita Cook, and Bernice Moore. Visitation for Mr. Burdis Caldwell will be Friday, May 5th, 2006 at 6:00 P.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals in Brodhead, KY. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 6th, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Marvin E. Owens Home for Funerals Chapel, with Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. |
